Attitude
Our positive behaviour for learning (PB4L) values are a fully embedded system that help our young people to become outstanding citizens. For being respectful, showing excellence, showing good attitude and demonstrating leadership, tamariki earn tokens.
Our main reason for our token system is to encourage your tamariki to grow and develop in our values, to demonstrate positive behaviours and learning relationships to become life-long learners, leaders and outstanding members of our community.
Tamariki earn Bronze and Silver awards such as vouchers for free-time, Nerf-Wars and Principal Lunches. 50 tokens earns a wristband for that value. The first 60 tamariki with all four wristbands, are presented with a Keeping it Real t-shirt. The first 15 tamariki to be awarded 250 tokens is invited on the Gold Trip in Term 4 to somewhere special, such as Extreme Edge in Hamilton.
