Taramoa Strathmore School provides the education that meets the needs of each tamariki, to grow their knowledge and their skills - traditional skills, and 21st Century skills.  And we do this through the eight learning areas of the New Zealand Curriculum.  These are:

ICE Projects: We also include project-based learning as part of weekly programme.  We call these ICE Projects which include lots of these curriculum areas.

Structured Literacy & BSLA: In 2024 we are excited to bring you Structured Literacy where tamariki learn how to 'Crack the Code' and spell with accuracy.  This learning happens immediately after break every day.  These sessions are snappy well supported times that keep the kids coming back for more.  BSLA will continue from 2023.  Check out our video and audio files.  Find them here.
