We are focusing on attendance, and we have some good news.  We are currently doing really well, and getting to school when we can. 

Each week we publish our attendance on Facebook and Hero.  We also give our highest attending class a small treat - morning tea bikkies. 

Students with 98-100% attendance for the whole term are invited to a celebration attendance lunch.

Fridays are typically low attendance days.  We are changing the narrative by having dress up day thems on Fridays.  It's a fun way to engage our tamariki and get them attending five days a week.

EVERY DAY MATTERS!!!

We are learning good lifelong habits.  Tracking is a fabulous way to keep ourselves accountable.  At the beginning of each term an attendance tracker is sent home.  Tamariki who return their tracker on the last day of the term receive a Tumeke Tumuaki treat.
