We are committed to welcoming and catering for diverse cultural and learning needs. Through exciting learning programmes and opportunities, we provide an inclusive and caring learning environment where all learners achieve their personal excellence.
Taramoa Strathmore School is committed to reflecting the significant place of Māori and of Mana Whenua (Ngati Raukawa ki Waikato) within our kawa and tikanga, and developing our local area curriculum.
We will advance a culturally responsive learning environment where school, whānau and community support ākonga to succeed in all their endeavours.
We connect our ākonga to their culture and identity, enhancing their own personal excellence and enabling them to be lifelong learners, leaders and
outstanding members of our community.
Whakatupu tamariki mō āpōpō.
Te hoatu ngā tamariki ki meake nei.
Giving our children a fulfilling future.
We have reviewed and re-developed our goals for the next three years. They are now more relevant and more achievable.
Under each goal are our initiatives. Our kaupapa has always been to uphold the Principles o Te Tiriti o Waitangi, and through this, we have developed two goals that give life to Te Tiriti, ensuring the paramount places of Cultural Wellbeing and Vibrant Learning. With these, we will grow 'outstanding members of our community', secure in our their personal and cultural identity, uplifted,
and empowered for success #whatever it takes.
