Strathmore School continues to take Covid19 seriously, and we take the the advice of the Ministry of Health and Ministry of Education in regards to the following restrictions that apply from 2 May 2022.
Masks |
At this stage, students and staff are not required to wear a mask, but we will support anyone who wishes to. |
Personal Hygiene |
We continue to monitor hand washing and sanitising, coughing / sneezing into elbow, and clean noses. Spitting will of course not be accepted. |
Food |
Students should continue to eat and drink only their food. Sharing is not permitted. |
Cleaning |
We have new cleaning contractors who will continue with the high standard of cleaning we expect. We will no longer be implementing a midday clean until further notice. |
Other Adults |
We ask that if parents / whānau do come on site, they wear a mask. |
Break & Lunch |
All students will have their break and lunch at the same times: 10.30am and 12.20pm. |
Feeling unwell |
If any student or staff member is feeling unwell with Covid19 symptoms, we will ask them to remain home. If a student notices symptoms during the day and we believe they are at risk or that they put others at risk, we will ask that they be picked up from school. We will provide parents with a Rapid Antigen Test (RAT). Students can return to school under the same protocols as previously - see our information table below. |
